Conditions of participation
Participation in the "EMS 2020 limited edition digital" competition (hereinafter also referred to as "competition") of "MESSE ESSEN GmbH" (hereinafter also referred to as "organizer") is free of charge and is based exclusively on these conditions of participation.
Participation
The duration of the competition runs from Friday, November 27th up to and including Sunday, December 6th, 2020. During this period, users will be given the opportunity to participate in the competition online.
To participate, it is necessary to fill out and send the displayed contact form . Participation is only possible online via this form and only within the above-mentioned participation period. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered in the draw.
The prizes to be drawn in the course of the competition can be viewed online by the participant on the website . By filling out and sending the above-mentioned contact form, the participant is registered for the prizes to be raffled on the respective day.
Only one registration per participant and per day will take part in the raffle. It is strictly forbidden to use multiple e-mail addresses to increase the chances of winning in the course of one day.
Eligible participants
Eligible to participate are natural persons who are resident in Germany and have reached the age of 18. Should a participant be restricted in his legal capacity, the consent of his legal representative is required.
Not entitled to participate in the competition are all persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition as well as their relatives and family members, employees of MESSE ESSEN GmbH, service partners of MESSE ESSEN GmbH as well as exhibitors of the ESSEN MOTOR SHOW. In addition, the organizer reserves the right to exclude persons from participation at its own discretion if there are justified reasons, for example (a) manipulation in connection with access to or implementation of the competition, (b) violations of these conditions of participation, (c) unfair actions or (d) false or misleading information in connection with participation in the competition.
Winning, notification and dispatch of the prize
The winners will be selected randomly from all participants. The winners of the raffle will be informed promptly via a separate e-mail about the prize. A cash payment is not possible.
Termination of the raffle
The organizer expressly reserves the right to terminate the competition without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the competition from running according to plan.
Privacy policy
To participate in the competition, personal data must be provided. The participant affirms that the personal information provided by him/her, in particular first name, surname and e-mail address, is true and correct.
The organizer points out that all personal data of the participant will neither be passed on to third parties nor given to them for use without consent. An exception to this is the exhibitors participating in the competition, who need to know this information in order to carry out the competition. For this purpose, the contact details of the respective winner will be made available to those exhibitors who provide the respective prize. By participating in the competition, the participant gives his consent to this.
All data will be deleted after the lottery is completed. A revocation of the above-mentioned consent is possible at any time by e-mail to socialmedia@messe-essen.de . The data protection contact person of MESSE ESSEN GmbH can be reached at datenschutz@messe-essen.de .

Applicable law
Questions or complaints in connection with the lottery should be addressed to the operator. Contact information can be found in the imprint area of the website. The operator's lottery is exclusively subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal action is excluded.
Severability Clause
Should a provision of these conditions of participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions of these conditions of participation shall not be affected. In place of the invalid provision, the legally permissible provision which comes closest to the meaning and purpose expressed in the invalid provision in economic terms shall apply. The same applies in the event of a gap in these conditions of participation.
